Qualifying Machine Operator

JOB SUMMARY:
Performs machine, manual, and visual inspection for specific defects or foreign material on a variety of parts manufactured both internally and by outside suppliers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Job setup, which includes having the proper material boxes, totes, bag, parts, packaging instructions, etc.
- Parts verification. Verify all parts brought to the work station are physically the correct parts and that the parts are free of contamination and that they match the batch number on all paperwork.
- SAP / ERP system upkeep and management.
- Maintaining correct machine procedures to alert material handlers that they are ready for parts to be dumped.
- Review QVA’ss and communication boards for the machine.
- Operate electric and hydraulic pallet jacks.
- Support 6S activities (i.e., tools on tool board, general housekeeping, etc.).
- Operate and setup machine scales.
- Monitor and report machine fallout.
- Complete required paperwork specific to each part’s sorting instructions.
- Complete basic SAP activities to start and complete a job.
- Perform purge activities to ensure the equipment is properly cleaned prior to the next job.
- Performs basic housekeeping and clean-up around station.
- Communication with the forklift operator, as necessary, to support continuous operation. This communication may be direct or through an andon light.
- Support hand pack and repack activities.
- Ensures required safety practices are supported and followed in the assigned area, this includes KAMAX approved safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes at all times.
- Support a Quality focus to ensure all inspection activities meet QVA criteria and are successful; while also ensuring to meet basic performance requirements.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Physically able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, and reach.
- Must be able to sit or stand at a station and sort parts for long periods of time.
- Physically be able to continuously lift 30 pounds throughout an 8 hour shift.
- Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math functions.
- Good troubleshooting/fine tuning skills.
- Consistent performance in set ups / production.
- Good communication skills and ability to talk with all levels of employees.
- Proficient with needed data entry on computer.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Learn and apply the use of cold forming principles
- Identify the difference in wire size
- Ability read and understand steel-labels and lot-control tags
- Grip and operate various hand tools including, electric grinder, bolt cutters, and wrenches
- Follow 6-S principles
- Check parts for defects and well as to perform CAQ on parts
- Ability to understand and measure parts using appropriate measuring tools

Performs all necessary light duty repairs including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing. Light to heavy duty fabrication within the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Perform minor building maintenance, including problems with heating, plumbing, electrical and structural with supervision.

Supplier Quality Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:
The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) manages supplier quality and component/service integrity through assessment of capabilities, compliance to processes and automotive standards, performance scorecards, continuous improvement efforts, and corrective actions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Evaluate supplier viability through feasibility studies, audits, capacity (run@rate) and record of performance.
- Provide recommendations and develop action plans to close gaps and improve quality/delivery performance; monitor performance and follow-up to ensure full implementation of control plan objectives.
- Perform engineering studies and analyses to root cause issues and develop effective resolutions.
- Facilitate/lead KAMAX supplier quality meetings, problem solving, reject/defect investigation related to supplier products and services.
- Manage supplier scorecards; initiate appropriate action based on trends and performance.
- Coordinate incoming material inspection processes with Materials, Quality and Engineering.

- Manage the physical and electronic quarantine of suspect or defective product, both in-process and in the warehouse.
- Manage supplier RMA numbers to complete disposition on suspect material within Hold Cage or RMA area in a timely manner.
- Support Purchasing with cost recovery and debits related to supplier issues.

Heat Treat Operator
Reports to: Department Supervisor Department: Heat Treat

JOB SUMMARY:
Heat treat operators monitor the process of heat treatment. They control the treatment furnaces and direct all activities of furnace operation, including the interpretation of computer data, temperature measurement and adjustment, loading and unloading product, follow work instructions and keep work area clean and organized.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Set and adjust speeds of conveyors for prescribed time cycles to pass parts through continuous furnaces.
- Read production schedules and work orders to determine processing sequences, furnace temperatures, and heat cycle requirements for objects to be heat-treated.
- Clean oxides and scales from parts or fittings, using steam sprays or chemical and water baths.
- Adjust controls to maintain temperatures and heating times, using thermal instruments and charts, dials and gauges of furnaces, and color of stock in furnaces to make setting determinations.
- Set up and operate or tend machines, such as furnaces, baths, flame-hardening machines, and electronic induction machines, that harden, anneal, and heat-treat metal.
- Examine and test parts with assortment of equipment to ensure correct hardness to customer specifications.
- Meets and maintains productivity levels and quality requirements in support of departmental standards, goals, and schedules.

JOB SUMMARY:
Performs all necessary light duty repairs including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing. Light to heavy duty fabrication within the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain operation of machinery by completing preventative maintenance requirements on all production equipment.
- Perform minor building maintenance, including problems with heating, plumbing, electrical and structural with supervision.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Quality Engineer plays a key role in ensuring product and process compliance to customer, internal, and regulatory requirements. This position is responsible for managing customer concerns, leading root cause investigations, initiating corrective actions, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Engineer interfaces directly with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve quality issues, maintain effective documentation, and support compliance with standards such as IATF 16949 and ISO 9001. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Act as the primary Quality contact for customer concerns, ensuring timely receipt, documentation, and resolution through structured problem-solving tools such as 8D and 5-Why.
- Manage and issue Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) and coordinate with internal teams to support the customer return process.
- Initiate and lead corrective actions (CARs) with internal teams and customers, ensuring root cause identification, effective countermeasures, and timely closure.
- Support internal manufacturing processes by quarantining nonconforming material both in-process and in finished goods inventory; drive investigations to contain and eliminate issues.
- Identify and lead improvement initiatives across products, processes, and systems, using data and cross-functional collaboration to drive measurable outcomes.

- Lead Measurement System Analysis (MSA) efforts to validate inspection and test equipment capability.
- Support Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions by compiling documentation, conducting capability studies, and ensuring timely approval.
- Conduct internal audits in accordance with IATF 16949 and layered audit schedules; support external and customer audits as needed.
- Develop and deliver Quality training to production and support staff on topics such as defect detection, standardized work, and quality alerts.
- Analyze production and quality data to identify trends, recurring issues, and potential systemic improvements.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

JOB SUMMARY:
The material handler ensures that the material flow of parts to be handled takes place according to production flow and quality criteria by the selection and employment of suitable employees and in compliance with all safety, existing laws, regulations and rules.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ensures machines in assigned department are stocked with all parts needed to run
- Make sure all parts are put away after a run to ensure parts are not mixed
- Scale tubs, unless machine is set up for quantity, and sheet is ready to move to next job.
- Ensure washers are scanned to machine and then put in PROD when delivered to machine
- Ensure returned washers' quantity is adjusted and then put away in the racks
- Ensure WIP is organized and find lost bins as needed
- Work closely with any new driver in your department, released to the production floor
- Must complete pre-shift check sheet and report any defects immediately.
- Must follow all safety standards: Proper PPE, Steel toe boots, Seat belt, Stop at intersections.
- Material handlers are responsible for the product flow in the plant. Report issues.
- Follow the process for Stock / Status sheets and follow FIFO
- Close cooperation with the areas of Technical Quality, Customer Service, Warehouse and MRP.
- Supply of packaging material where required.
- Encouraging the continuous improvement of the internal logistics product flow.
- Keep up on shop floor activities in assigned departments and WIP.
- Monitoring and optimization of the scanning process and Task Management system
- Use computer to find needed wire and bring to Header and load on saddle.

We are seeking a proactive and floor-focused Quality Manager who will lead our efforts to significantly reduce internal and external quality defects, improve process performance, and drive down scrap through disciplined analysis and escalated actions when needed. This role will be the operational backbone of our defect reduction strategy—owning the scrap KPIs, mentoring key users on SPC and data accuracy, and ensuring actions are executed with urgency and accountability at all levels.
The Manager, Quality Manufacturing has plant-wide authority to escalate quality issues that require corrective actions or stop production when the quality risk is unacceptable.
In addition, this role will maintain an auditing and mentoring program that strengthens operational discipline and supports long-term skill development for production personnel and process owners.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Scrap & Quality Defect Reduction
- Lead daily defect reduction efforts across Cold Heading, Qualifying, Thread Rolling, and Heat Treat processes.
- Manage and track scrap-related KPIs at the machine, department, and part-level.
- Facilitate Root Cause / Corrective Action (RCCA) reviews for recurring scrap or defect trends.
- Prioritize and escalate issues when actions stall or KPIs trend negatively.
- Partner with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance to drive concrete improvement actions.
SPC, Data Integrity & Reporting
- Ensure robust use of data for decision-making (I-MR charts, capability analysis, trend escalation).
- Maintain visibility of scrap performance and SPC compliance through structured dashboards or reviews.
Auditing & Mentoring Program
- Improve a layered auditing program for all operational training and process controls.
- Support ongoing training related to process knowledge, standard work, and quality alert responses.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Directly manage and develop quality team members, including performance management, capability development, and workload prioritization.
- Collaborate with manufacturing leaders to align daily performance goals with scrap and quality KPIs.
- Promote a culture of problem-solving, prevention, and process ownership.
- Act as a liaison between Quality and Technical Training
- Consulted on any adjustments or improvements related to the structure of the technical training programs
- Determine when quality-related topics must be included in training curricula or weekly departmental meetings to improve quality outcomes.
- Act as a resource for VDA 6.3 / IATF compliance in floor-level practices and documentation.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field preferred (or equivalent technical background).
- Minimum 5 years quality experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.

The Quality Engineer – QMS is responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management Systems (QMS). This role ensures that all processes, products, and services meet the required quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive quality initiatives and ensure compliance with industry standards like ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, VDA or other relevant frameworks.
JOB SUMMARY:
- Design, implement, and maintain the QMS in accordance with applicable automotive standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, VDA, etc.).
- Regularly review and update quality processes and documentation to ensure they meet current regulations and company goals.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounts payable operations, including the accurate processing and timely payment of vendor invoices. This role ensures compliance with company policies and internal controls, supports month-end close activities, and assists in maintaining positive vendor relationships.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Process vendor invoices accurately using proper general ledger coding and three-way matching
- Review and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues in a timely manner
- Prepare and assist with accounts payable payment runs in accordance with company policies and internal controls
- Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments; reconcile accounts payable reports and escalate variances as needed
- Maintain vendor master data, including setup and updates, under established procedures
- Respond to vendor inquiries related to invoice status and payment
- Process employee expense reports in compliance with company policy
- Assist with intercompany reconciliations related to accounts payable
- Support month-end close activities, including preparation of AP accruals and reconciliations
- Monitor and follow up on open items in the vendor invoice management (VIM) system
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
- Assist with internal and external audit requests by gathering documentation and reports
- Support preparation of cash and check disbursement schedules
- Assist with tracking blanket purchase orders
- Generate standard AP and general ledger reports as requested
- Maintain tracking logs to ensure invoices are processed and posted accurately
- Support the maintenance of the AP vendor email inbox
- Assist with corporate credit card administration and statement reconciliation
- Assist with processing utility invoices and petty cash transactions
- Track contractor payments and maintain supporting documentation
- Perform basic account and vendor analysis
- Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate invoice approvals
- Maintain awareness of sales tax requirements related to accounts payable

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred
- 1-3 years of accounts payable or related accounting experience, preferably in a similar industry

- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

JOB SUMMARY:
The Process Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining manufacturing processes related to the launch and production of automotive fasteners. This role focuses on improving efficiency, quality, and cost performance across operations such as cold heading, thread rolling, heat treatment, and secondary operations. The Process Engineer plays a key role in continuous improvement, new product launches, and ensuring compliance with customer and industry standards (e.g., IATF 16949). The Process Engineer maintains or modifies existing products utilizing Computer Aided Design (CAD) & APQP techniques.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Process Engineering
- Using relevant computer-based engineering programs such as Solid Works & AutoCAD for…
- Drawing customer prints.
- Drawing internal process prints and creating necessary documents for cold forming, thread rolling, and other internal ops.
- Designing gauges for use in production.
- Modifying plant layout for adding or moving machinery.
- Read, generate, and maintain specific blueprints for customers.
- Utilize Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) on prints.
Troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot problems with the manufacturing and engineering teams.
- Use core tools to address product launch issues and customer concerns (8D, FMEA, Cp/Ck).
- Use Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to solve problems.
- Use other tools as necessary to improve engineering processes.
- Support OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) improvements across production lines.
New Product Launch Support
- Work with Sales and Production on new and existing parts
- Participate in APQP activities for new products.
- Participate in design and process reviews with Sales and customers.
- Perform feasibility studies on new products.
- Assist with developing and validating processes for new part launches and product changes, including PFMEA, control plans, and process flow diagrams
